Noosa Camera Hire exists because finding pro gear on the Sunshine Coast used to mean a 2-hour drive to Brisbane or a week-long courier wait. So we built the kit we always wanted to borrow — and made it easy to grab.
The story
I'm a working photographer based in Noosa Heads. For years I'd loan spare bodies, lenses and drones to mates, visiting shooters and wedding photographers flying in for a job. It became obvious there was no proper rental option locally — so in 2024 I turned the spare-room shelf into a real business.
Every item in the catalogue is something I'd happily shoot a paid job with. Sony Alpha bodies, G Master glass, DJI drones, Nanlite lighting, ND filters and audio — all checked, cleaned and charged between every booking. If it's on the site, it's ready to go today.
Why local matters
Free hand-delivery anywhere within roughly 20km of Noosa Heads — Noosaville, Sunshine Beach, Tewantin, Peregian. A small fee covers Coolum and further south. No couriers, no waiting on a parcel, no scratched bodies turning up day-of-shoot. You text me, I drop the kit at your Airbnb or venue.
I also know the spots. If you're hiring for a sunrise at Hells Gates, a drone flight over Noosa National Park, or a wedding at Halse Lodge — ask. Local advice comes free with the camera.
