    Drone hire in Noosa.

DJI Mavic 3 Pro for hire on the Sunshine Coast — triple Hasselblad cameras, three batteries, ND set and a hard carry case. Ready to fly.

Professional camera and lens hire for Drone hire — photographer shooting on Noosa Main Beach

The Mavic 3 Pro is the drone we'd take ourselves: a 4/3 Hasselblad main sensor for properly cinematic 5.1K footage, plus 70mm and 166mm telephoto cameras for compressed coastal compositions you can't get from a single-lens drone. Omnidirectional sensing means it's safe to fly close to cliffs and headlands, and 43-minute flight times mean fewer landings to swap batteries.

Every hire includes the drone, RC controller with built-in screen, three intelligent flight batteries, charging hub, ND filter set (4/8/16/64), spare propellers and a hard carry case. The pre-flight briefing is free if you'd like one.

Important — under CASA rules in Australia, you need to be a registered operator to fly any drone over 250g for any purpose other than purely recreational. The Mavic 3 Pro is 958g, so commercial work requires your own RePL or RPA registration. We can't fly the drone for you, but we can point you at the paperwork.

Where to fly a drone in Noosa (legally)

Noosa National Park is a CASA exclusion zone — no drone flights without a permit from QPWS. Main Beach, Sunshine Beach and the headland between Hells Gates and Sunshine are generally fine outside of busy hours. Hastings Street and any populated area requires 30m separation from people. Always check the OpenSky app before you launch.

Best aerial spots within 20 minutes of Noosa Heads

Tea Tree Bay at sunrise (early enough that the headland is empty), the Noosa River mouth at low tide, Hells Gates on a calm morning, Lake Cooroibah for inland water, and the long beaches north of Sunrise. Bring NDs — the light up here is bright.
