Equipment Rental Agreement

The Owner agrees to hire to the Hirer the equipment listed in the booking confirmation ("Equipment") for the period stated in that confirmation ("Hire Period"), in exchange for the fees set out in the booking.

The Hirer agrees to:

• Inspect the Equipment at pickup and report any pre-existing damage immediately.
• Keep the Equipment dry, clean and protected from sand, salt water and impact.
• Never leave the Equipment unattended in a vehicle or public place.
• Use only the supplied batteries, chargers, cables and media unless otherwise agreed.
• Return all items in the original packaging, including caps, straps, cables and cases.

Risk in the Equipment passes to the Hirer at pickup and remains with the Hirer until the Equipment is returned to and inspected by the Owner. The Hirer is responsible for the full repair or replacement cost (at current retail value) of any item that is lost, stolen, damaged or returned in unusable condition during the Hire Period, regardless of fault.

A refundable security bond or card pre-authorisation may be taken before pickup. The bond is released within 5 business days of return, less any amounts owing for damage, loss, late return, missing accessories or cleaning.

Equipment not returned by the agreed return time is charged at the full daily rate per day (or part thereof). If the Equipment is not returned within 48 hours of the agreed return time and the Hirer cannot be contacted, the Owner may treat the Equipment as stolen and report it to police, and may charge the full retail replacement value to the Hirer's card on file.

The Hire Fee does not include insurance. The Hirer acknowledges that they are responsible for arranging their own insurance cover for the Equipment during the Hire Period and accepts financial responsibility for any uninsured loss or damage.

The Hirer must use the Equipment lawfully and in accordance with the manufacturer's instructions. The Equipment must not be sub-let, on-hired, sold, modified, or taken outside Australia without the Owner's prior written consent. The Hirer is solely responsible for obtaining any permits required to use the Equipment in restricted locations (including drone flights and filming permits).

Cancellations are handled in accordance with our Terms & Conditions.

By signing below, the Hirer authorises the Owner to charge the card provided at booking for any unpaid hire fees, late fees, repair, cleaning or replacement costs incurred under this Agreement, after the Owner has provided a written breakdown of those charges.

This Agreement is governed by the laws of Queensland, Australia.

You'll sign a printed copy of this Agreement at collection. By picking up the Equipment you confirm you have read and agree to be bound by this Agreement and our Terms & Conditions, and accept financial responsibility for any loss, theft or damage to the Equipment during the Hire Period.
